Sheila Fell: A Loan Exhibition
A unique loan exhibition of rarely seen works by Sheila Fell.
This exhibition, comprising of 24 paintings and drawings loaned from private collections, was the first show of Fell's work to be held in London for 20 years. It was timed to coincide with the publication of the first-ever comprehensive book on her life and work. Sheila Fell, A Passion for Paint, written by Cate Haste, draws on previously unpublished letters and diaries and interviews with contemporaries including the artists Frank Auerbach, the late Craigie Aitchison and Sir Peter Blake.
We no longer have copies of the book at the gallery, but it is available to buy on Amazon: ISBN 978-0-85331-979-5
